Joyleata “Joy” A. (Flanigan) Williams, 76, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019. She was born to Rudy and Cora (Hutsell) Flanigan on October 14, 1942 in Black Oak, Arkansas.
Joy loved to spend her time sewing. She also enjoyed artex painting and crafts. Joy would make baby dolls for her friends’ grandchildren. She was a member of the Franklin Senior Center. Joy was also a member of the Creekside Church of Christ.
Joy is survived by her children, Jennifer G. (Richard) Breedlove of Morgantown, Rudy R. Williams of Franklin, and David E. Williams of Whiteland; her sister Mildred Karch of Arizona; her brother, Timothy Flanigan; her two grandchildren, Lee and Leina; her three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ryan and Luke; three step-grandchildren, Cody, Josh, and Daniel; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Cora (Hutsell) Flanigan and her brother, Gary Flanigan.
