Joyce A. Wiltsie
Joyce Anne Wiltsie, 67 of East Union Street, Newark, died suddenly at her home Monday, September 9, 2002.
Family and friends may call Thursday (Sept. 12) from 7-9 at the Norman L.
Joyce was born the daughter of Elmer and Blanche (Davis) Veley on June 11, 1935 in Huron, New York. She attended school at the North Rose-Wolcott Schools. Joyce had worked at Wegmans in Newark as the Dairy Manager and then worked for the Newark Developmental Center where she retired after 17 years of service.
Joyce enjoyed reading, traveling and camping.
She is survived by her daughter Laura Lawson and her friend Mike of Clifton Springs; sons Terry (Sue) of Lyons, Robert and his friend Kelly and Scott (Kelly) Wiltsie both of Florida; grandchildren Christopher (Mindy) Lawson, Kenya, Joshua, Tara, Jenny, Amy and Michelle Wiltsie; friends Betty Smith of Phelps and Alice Colasurdo of Clyde; many nieces and nephews.
Joyce was predeceased by her friend William Erb in 1996; brother Stanley Veley in 2000; sisters Jean Marie Veley in 1934 and Doris Schultz in 1984.
