Joyce Watts Amis, 94, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at her home in Newnan. Joyce was born April 25, 1927 in Newnan to the late Henry Watts & Bess McCullough Watts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Donald J. Amis, son, Donald Joseph Amis, Jr. and brother, Buddy Watts.
Mrs. Amis was a longtime active member of the First Baptist Church of Newnan. She dearly loved her church and served in many capacities including singing in the choir, serving as the sign language interpreter and until she was 92 she taught Sunday School.
