Joyce was born on October 5, 1942 in Fayetteville, Tennessee. On February 5, 2017 her beautiful life ended. She is survived by her devoted husband Mike of 31 years, son Eddy Johnson, sister Gayle Howard, brother Bill Graves, step-daughters Susan Little and Kathy Epler. She is also survived by four wonderful grandchildren, Michael Little, Melinda Little, Nicholas Epler, and Allison Johnson. Additionally, Joyce was blessed to have a large body of loving relatives, neighbors and friends.
Joyce held a BS and MBA from the University of Alabama. She enjoyed a highly successful career in the Computer and Space industries and retired from The Boeing Company.
