Joyce Eileen Mortensen 68 of Dubois died Thursday, January 26, 2012, at her home in Dubois. She was born March 22 1943, to Elzie and Vera Henman, in Walpello, Idaho. She grew up in Dubois where she met her husband, Everett Mortensen. They moved to Nebraska for Everett to take a job and enjoyed a few years there. They were married in March of 1964, and started a family. They came back to Dubios on vacation after their youngest child was born and stayed because they loved it. Joyce and Everett had three children; Marie Burkman (Don), Cindy Mortensen, and Curt Mortensen (Erin). They have six wonderful grandchildren; Criss, Mike, Brandon, Leo, Isaac, and Eric.
