Okeechobee – Joyce Moody Bigford died November 18, 2021. Mrs. Bigford was born June 22, 1957, in Russellville, Arkansas. A resident of Okeechobee for over 50 years, she was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She was the best mother the family could’ve ever had; she will be in their hearts. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and fishing.
Mrs. Bigford was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Mae Moody; and her sister-in-law, Debbie Moody.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Billy Bigford; son, Jimmy Bigford (Jamie); daughters, Patricia Gonzales, Necole Gonzales, and Jessica Bigford (Gustavo Rodriguez), all of Okeechobee; father, Haskel Moody, of Arkansas and formerly a longtime resident of Okeechobee; twelve grandchildren, Christopher Gonzales, Vinson Gonzalez, Jonothan Gonzalez, Elida Jimenez, Elena Jimenez, Michael Orozco, Saul Orozco, Jimmy Bigford, Jr., Jayce Bigford, Jayke Bigford, Olivia Rodriguez, and Baby Gus; four great-grandchildren, Lillian Marshall, Gabriella Marshall, George Marshall, Jr., and Christopher Gonzales, Jr.; brothers, Leroy Moody (Phyllis), of McMinnville, Tennessee, Carl Moody, of Okeechobee, and Carlis Moody, of Okeechobee; sister, Phyllis Kirkland, of Okeechobee; mother-in-law, Cathy; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces that love her very much.
