Anderson – Joyce M. “Jai” Thompson, 59, Anderson, died January 31, 2011 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born September 26, 1951 in Lebanon and resided in Anderson most of her life. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her beloved children, daughter; Sharon LuAnn Grigsby. Sons; Michael Ray King Heidi of Anderson, Paul “Daniel” Thompson Companion, Lisa Moore of Anderson and Robert Gene Ashley King Julie of Rochester, Indiana.
Also left behind are several brothers and sisters; Margaret Kittinger of Indianapolis, Linda Phelps of Lebanon, Kentucky, Kathy Kittinger of Cameron, North Carolina, Charles Kittinger Jan of Kellar, Texas, Thomas Kittinger Judy of Noblesville, Indiana, Tony “Skillet” Brooks of Nashville, Tennessee, Teresa Venis Brian of Lebanon, Kentucky and David Hendrickson of Port Charolotte, Florida. Also beloved friends and sisters at heart; Peggy Joe Riley of Ingalls and Kelli Singer of Anderson. Grandchildren; Scott James, Tasha Michelle, Jessica Renae, Shawn Nicholas, Joumana Marie, Angelica Simone, Justin Michael, Nathaniel Kelli, Sierra Marie, Emily Taylor, Ashland Elizabeth, Hannah Danielle and Noah. Several nieces and nephews. One great grandchild; McKenzie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband. Cremation will take place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
