Obituary of Joyce M. Darling
DARLING, Joyce M. of Carrollton, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper. She was 83 years old. Joyce M. Hillier was born on April 13, 1928 in Mt. Morris, to Perry and Ada Hillier. She married Rolland E. Darling on August 21, 1947 in Burt. Joyce was employed by Carrollton Public Schools in the cafeteria; retiring in 1989 after 15 years of service.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Rolland E. Darling; four children: Rick P. (Karen) Darling, Dale W. (Maureen) Brown, Daniel L. (Cindy) Darling, and Janis M. Darling; 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters; three brothers; many nieces and nephews and many close friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Rolland E. Darling, Jr. and Jerry F. Darling; an infant daughter; one sister and one brother.
