Joyce Cotney Mathews Hamrick, 79, of Trussville, peacefully passed July 7, 2013. She was a member of Irondale Methodist Church and later moved to First United Methodist Church of Trussville where she was a member of The Character Builders Sunday School Class. After her retirement from the Jefferson County Health Department she moved to Foley, AL where she was active with several garden clubs and worked with the community.
