Joyce Gervais Sirgo peacefully took her last breath at home surrounded by love and affection the morning of July 16, 2015. Joyce was 88 years old and in the advanced stages of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Sirgo and wonderful mother of Lisa J. Sirgo and the late Sheila L. Sirgo. Joyce was the caring mother-in-law of Donald J. Gandolini and loving grandmother (Grams) of Ryan Louis, Dante William, and Michael John Peter Gandolini. Joyce was the sister of Gail G. Ponder and the late Grace G. Booth. She was the sister-in-law of the late Reginald G. Booth, Patrick J. Ponder, Stanley J. Sirgo, Shirley P. Sirgo, Elaine S. Hamilton, and Millard Hamilton. She was the daughter of the late Peter A. Gervais and Louise Audibert Gervais and Second Mother Leona Moldaner Gervais. Joyce is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many dear, dear, friends. Joyce was a leader and member of the Police Affiliated Ladies (PALS) for many years. She enjoyed socializing and playing games including bridge and canasta with groups of friends. Joyce was always kind-hearted, generous, and patient with everyone. She loved entertaining in her home and making others happy.
