Joyce Gayle Cummins Hammond, 70, of Maysville passed away peacefully at her home after a lengthy illness on Thursday, January 9, 2020. Joyce was born in Fayette County on June 5, 1949 daughter of the late James Lang & Norma Louise Gillespie Cummins. She was a retired elementary school teacher who taught in Grant County for 27 years.
Survivors include her husband Rev. Paul B. Hammond; a brother Edward Lang Cummins. Several nieces & nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by a daughter Katie Leandra Hammond.
