Mrs. Joyce Geraldine “Geri” West, age 79, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at noon on Wednesday, March 5th, 2014 in the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center after suffering a stroke a week prior. Geri was born in Jasper, Alabama on February 28th, 1935 to her parents (deceased), Erskine and Nancy Key. Geri is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jack D. West and her two sons, Bradley S. West, Ft. Walton Beach and Stanley P. West, Palm Harbor, Fla. She is survived by two grandchildren, Brandon S. West, Huntsville, Ala., Marisa L. West, Pensacola, Fla. and one great-grandchild, Jackson Gunner West, Huntsville, Ala.
