Joyce D. McCurdy, 78, of Pendleton, passed away on September 25, 2015 in Pendleton. She was born on May 12, 1937 in Anderson, and resided most of her life in Pendleton.
She worked as an Auctioneer for 40 years. She was a member of Indiana Auctioneer Association, The American Legion, and The Quilters of Pendleton. She enjoyed bowling, quilting, sewing, reading, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends.
Joyce is survived by her children, Debbie (David) Reed of Pendleton, Steve (Charla) Neal of Morrisonville, IL, Tim (Denise) McCurdy of Pendleton, Kelly (Dan) Baylis of Fowlerville, MI, sister, Norma (Bob) Ebert of Plainfield, grandchildren, Alan McCurdy, Tyler McCurdy, Curtis (fiancé Oksana) Hastings, Brooke (fiancé Dustin) Baylis, Jodie Baylis, Shelby Baylis, great-grandson, Brody McCurdy, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie McCurdy, mother, Eileen Southers, and her father, Samuel G. Southers.
