Joyce Culley, Peterson, of Las Vegas, passed away January 7, 2017 at the age of 85. She was born October 7, 1931, in Rupert, Idaho, to Leland and Hellen Culley. She was a 60-year resident of Las Vegas, Nevada.
After graduating from Rupert High School, Joyce received her nursing degree from Holy Cross School of Nursing in 1952. During her career, she worked for St. Rose de’ Lima Hospital and Nathan Adelson Hospice.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gerald Culley. She is survived by her husband, John L. Peterson; daughter, Marisa (John) Moreno; stepdaughter, Gretchen Lawson; stepson, John E. Peterson; granddaughters, Ava and Gia Moreno and Vanessa (Brett) Basham; and great grandson, Leighton Basham. All are of Las Vegas, Nevada.
