Joyce Chaney was a widow of twelve years, married to Milton Chaney for sixty years. Mrs. Chaney was one of the oldest members of Danville Baptist church. She raised six children, she also had five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Chaney loved quilting and had ladies come from the surrounding states to have quilts made. Mrs. Chaney was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband: Milton Chaney, one son: Jimmy Chaney, two daughters: Mary Asherbranner (Jimmy), and Suzanne Chaney.
Survivors include:
One son: Gary Chaney (Jalena) – Moulton, AL.
Two daughters: Nancy Sartin (Brian) – Massey, AL. and Janie Waldrop – Decatur, AL.
Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
