Joyce Cambrai Kniola, 88, longtime Three Oaks, Michigan resident, died October 19, 2007 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph. Joyce was born February 3, 1919 in Dover England to Herbert and Ethel (Johnson) Fisher.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Three Oaks, and resided at Jordan’s Nursing Home in Bridgman for the past two years. Joyce was an avid bowler, worked for the Three Oaks Spokes Bicycle Club, and was very involved in her community and her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kniola, Sr.; her sister, Muriel “Susie” Koth; and her grandson, Doug Hildebrand.
Joyce is survived by three children, Dennis (Sherry) Kniola, St. Joseph, Michigan ; Kathleen (Dick) Hildebrand of New Buffalo, Michigan; and George Kniola Jr. of Grand Rapids, Michigan; grandchildren, Mike Kniola, Nancy Kniola, Dan Kniola, Kathy (Kniola) Pawlowski, Marla (Hildebrand) Deist, Christopher Hildebrand, Rick Hildebrand, Krista (Hildebrand) Forker, David Kniola and Kristan (Kniola) Brouwer; 12 great grandchildren, and a sister, Lenore (Richard) Hauch of Ft. Myers, FloridaCremation has taken place.
