Joyce Marie Blake Hynson of Preston, MD died peacefully on November 5, 2014 at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton.
Joyce graduated from Colonel Richardson High School in 1969. After graduating she worked as a machine operator for E.I. Dupont in Seaford, DE. On December 24, 1997 she was united in marriage to Maurice Hynson. Joyce became a faithful and dedicated member of the International House of Worship in Easton, MD. She submitted her membership shortly after the church was established in 2003, under the leadership of the founding Pastor Dawn Abbott.
Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Blake Sr. and her son, Trever Owen Blake.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Maurice Hynson, two children; Renwick Blake (Devera) of Glen Burnie, MD, and Rendia Blake of Baltimore, MD, her mother; Marjorie Blake of Preston, MD, two sisters; Delores Lake of Denton, MD, Joanne Greene of District Heights, MD, two brothers; Leroy Blake Jr. of Homewood, AL, Bruce Blake of Laurel, MD, five grandchildren, LaMour Pritchett, Tiara Keene, MyLasia Blake, Treyouna Blake and Tamicia Clinton, three great-grandchildren, Zy’aire Conaway, Iyana Conaway, and Tamar Clinton, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
