Joyce Ann Bolner, age 66, of Piedmont Ave., Grafton, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011, at her residence. She was born August 11, 1944, in Preston County, a daughter of the late Dayton Bolyard and Freda (Fike) Bolyard. Her husband, Oren Rex Bolner, preceded her in death.
Joyce was a homemaker and also worked as a housekeeper for various families and businesses.
Surviving are: one son, Doug Bolner and girlfriend Donna Sue Knotts, of Grafton; three grandchildren, Tiffney Albright, of MD, Jennifer Marie Bolner, of Philippi, and Misty Dawn Bolner, of Grafton; three sisters, Leona Murray, of Grafton, Lucille Travis and husband Melvin, of Thornton, and Fay Bolyard, of Hopemont, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by: one son, Gregory Scott Bolner; three sisters, Irene Miller, Madalene Shahan, and Janet Sigley; seven brothers, Hayward Bolyard, Roy Edgar Bolyard, Burdine Bolyard, Melvin Bolyard, Ronald Bolyard, Denzil Bolyard, and Vance Bolyard.
