Joyce Alice Lee, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on May 17, 2015, in Boise, ID. She is survived by her loving husband Buck Lee of 69 years, son Wally (Sandy) Lee , granddaughter Taira (Jesus) Guerrero, grandson Anthony Lee, her sister Frances Cornelson all of Boise, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
Joyce was born August 24, 1925 in Butte, MT, to Stewart and Lillian Cornelson. She was raised on the family homestead in Salt Creek Canyon, WY, where her days were filled playing with her sister, riding horses, and attending to family chores. She attended grade schools in Kemmerer, WY, Montpelier, ID, but the majority were in a one room school house in Boarder, WY. Joyce graduated from Cokeville High School in 1943. After high school she attended one year of business school in Butte, MT and afterwards worked at First Security Bank in Montpelier, ID.
