Joy Elizabeth Fortenberry White, age 79 of Pinson, passed away on January 13, 2016. She was a member of Palmerdale United Methodist Church. Joy was a loving and caring Minister’s Wife, Mother, Sunday School Teacher and a great servant of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mirbel Fortenberry; and brother, William Joseph Fortenberry. Joy is survived by her loving husband, Roy White; daughters, Gail Hallmark (Dwight) and Ann Bush (Ricky); sons, Steve White (Melissa) and Nathan White (Karen); 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and sister, Nila Mae Gable.
