Joy V. Cole, 92, of Ammon, passed away September 15, 2019, at her son’s home. She was under the care of her loving family and Aspen Home Health & Hospice. Joy was born March 29, 1927, in Healdsburg, California, to William H. Denise and Dee Sharp Denise.

She met her husband, Robert M. Cole, while working at the Camp Pinedale Base Exchange near Fresno, California. They married on July 21, 1945, prior to Robert shipping out overseas with the Army Air Corp as a Radioman, during World War II. Following the war, Joy and Robert moved all over the Western States, while Robert worked for the U. S.

Winters were spent in their trailer at Bullhead City, Arizona, relaxing, traveling and playing the slot machines in Nevada.

Joy is survived by her loving son, David (Connie) Cole of Ammon, ID; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert M. Cole; sons, Larry A. Cole and Alan R. Cole; and a granddaughter, Shannon M. Cole.
