Joy (nee Santoro) Mido passed away peacefully on September 26, 2017 at Ashbrook Nursing Home in Scotch Plains surrounded by her loving family. Joy was born in Elizabeth and resided in Lakewood and Edison before moving to Manchester in 2012. Joy was a lab technician for Merck & Company in Rahway for over 20 years. She was a proud member of the Women’s Auxiliary Post 5 Rahway.
Predeceased by her former husband Robert Mido, Sr. (2017). Survived by her children Robert (Bo) Mido Jr. and his wife Tracy, Christopher Mido and his wife Lori, Jeffrey Mido and his wife Andrea; her grandchildren Alyssa Mido, Michael Mido, Ava Mido, Riley Duell and Juniper Mido; her brother Joseph Santoro of Florida; her sister Denise Santoro of Newark; and her longtime companion Edward Korab of Colonia.
