Joy L. Hoadley, 75, died Thursday evening, February 24, 2005, at her home in Three Oaks. Joy was born March 13, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois to Martin O. and Beatrice (Buehler) Larson.
She moved to Three Oaks in 1948. On November 2, 1962, she married Roy Hoadley in Three Oaks. Joy enjoyed tending her flowers and vegetable garden, playing cards, and baking. She loved taking walks and driving tractors while helping her husband farm.
Survivors include her husband, Roy; children, Duane (Linda) Hoadley of Richmond, Indiana; Lauri Skipper of Fort White, Florida; and Terri (Rick) Newkirk of Three Oaks; grandchildren, Jeff, Ben, Mandy, Craig, and Chad; great-grandchildren, Colby, Crystal, Joshua, Caleb and Dreyven, her sister June Johnson of Sun City, Arizona, and many nieces and nephews.
