Joy Eloise Quinley, 92 of Springfield Illinois, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born April 1, 1929 in Arthur, IL. to Delmar and Ada Elder.

Eloise retired from The State Bank of Ashland after 33 years of service. She was a volunteer at St. John’s Hospital, St. John’s Breadline, Illinois Wings and was a longtime member of Po.L.K. of A., Illinois Chapter. She was also a longtime member of Real Life Christian Church in Springfield. She loved to stay busy visiting and spending time with her friends meeting for lunches and taking various group bus trips. She was always a faithful supporter of all of her family’s endeavors and was truly their best cheerleader. She was the sweetest, kindest, and most thoughtful mother, sister, gma, and friend any of us could have wished for. She is deeply loved and will be missed every single day by us all.

She is survived by: daughter, Barbara Quinley of Springfield; two grandchildren, Stacey Cory of Springfield and Josh Franz of Waverly; three great grandchildren, Jade, Ava, and Sophie; sister, Janet Ernst; sisters-in-law, Francine Elder and Alice W. Quinley.

She was preceded in death by: daughter, Rebecca Franz; sister, Wilma Brandt; brother, Darrell Elder.
