Jowell Bartolome Santiago, 84, of Port St. Lucie passed away on October 27, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Jowell was born in Santa Cruz Laguna, Philippines. He immigrated to Maui, Hawaii for many years before relocating to Florida in 2004. Prior to retiring, Jowell worked as a loan officer in the banking industry. In his spare time, he loved to play golf, tell jokes, and spend time with his grandchildren.
He was a caring, loving, generous man. Not only did he love his family and friends so dearly he brought so much light and laughter to those around him. Even in his final moments, he was telling jokes.
His family loved him dearly and held him in the highest regard.
Jowell was the beloved husband of Teresita for the past 41 years; loving father of Joy McIntosh (Sean) and Jeffrey Santiago (Wendy); adored grandfather of Rafael Castro, Kailana Castro, Kairi McIntosh, Kayden McIntosh, Liam McIntosh, Caitlyn Santiago, and Ava Santiago; and dear brother of Rolando Ibera.
