Jovide A. Palardy, 83 went home to heaven on Monday, November 30, 2015, where he was reunited with the love of his life, Pauline. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in New Britain, on August 6, 1932, the son of the late Jovide and Alma (Burgoin) Palardy. Joe was predeceased by his soul mate, his wife of 31 years Pauline Palardy, his in-laws Arthur and Laurianna (Dubois) Beauchemin, a brother Raoul and a sister Arline. Joe worked for Royal Machine and Tool for 43 years and retired in 2006. Joe is survived by 2 daughters, Donna Talbot and her husband Corey of Hebron, and Sheryl Scalesse and her husband Geno of Newington with whom he lived, 2 sons; Gary Palardy and his wife MJ of Meriden and Stephen Palardy and his wife Christine of Farmington. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Kristyna Scalesse and Tristan Talbot, and 5 step grandsons; Neil O’Brien, Ian O’Brien, Ryan Baril, Patrick Blake, and Danny Blake. He also leaves behind 3 sisters; Jeannette Palardy of Cromwell, Dolores Markewicz of New Britain, and Lorraine Fazzina of E. Berlin, a brother; Louis Palardy and his wife Cookie of Berlin, a sister-in-law Jeannette Murphy, and two brothers-in-law, Raymond Beauchemin and his wife Jane and Roland Beauchemin and his wife Cecile and many nieces and nephews, The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Gallagher and the cardiac surgical team, and PD nurses Anne, Polly, and Pauline at Hartford Hospital, as well as Hospice nurses Kerrie and Debbie, Hospice aide Maria, and Dr. John D’Avella for their care and kindness during Joe’s illness.
