Josie P. Schueler, 92, of Centralia passed away November 22, 2012 at Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon.
She was born February 12, 1920 in Williamsville, Missouri, daughter of Fred and Mary (Schneider) Pracht. She married Robert Schueler in August of 1961 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and he survives in Centralia.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by many nephews and nieces.She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and five brothers.Mrs. Schueler served in the U.S. Women Marines during World War II and in the Korean War. She is a member of the Disable American Veterans, U.S. Women Marine Corp League and St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was an avid quilter, gardener and homemaker.
