Joshua T. Pereira age 21, of Halifax formerly of Plymouth, died unexpectedly in his home on Saturday September 11th. He is the beloved son of Joseph Pereira and Amy (Nichols) Pereira. Born in Plymouth on August 2, 2000, he attended Plymouth Schools and was a graduate of Plymouth North High School class of 2018 where he was a member of the Chess club and was an undefeated champion player. He went on to attend the Launch Academy in Boston. Josh worked as a Software Engineer for the Smartleaf Inc. He was a member of the S.E. Mass Mathematics League and the Rod and Game Club. Josh was a kind, loving kid who enjoyed life and time spent with his family and special time with his grandfather on the farm in Maine. Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Rachel Pereira of Plymouth, his grandfather Thomas Nichols of Hudson. Also survived many aunts, uncles and cousins.
