Joshua Robert Barish, age 33 and a resident of St. Johns, died on November 22, 2023 after sustaining injuries in an automobile accident. Born on March 9, 1990, the son of Robert and Melissa Reed Barish, Josh grew up in Lansing and attended Holt High School. He enjoyed working construction and most recently enjoyed working concrete and landscaping with Outdoor Specialties in Lansing. He was a hard worker and worked hard at bettering his life for a good future. He was funny, loving, caring, loved his family, had a special relationship with his nieces, cherished time with his grandpa and grandma \”Nana\” Reed, and talked to his mom, dad, and sister every day. They will all miss him dearly, and are proud that as an organ donor he continues to help others.He is survived by his parents, Robert and Melissa Barish; his sister, Nicole (fiance, Mario Perez) and her children, Olivia and Alaia; his girlfriend, Amy Weldon; grandparents, Donald and Lacinda \”Cindy\” Reed and Bethany Barish, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gene \”Geno\” Barish in 2010.
