Joshua Lee Darden Jr., began his journey through life on September 6, 1934. He was born to the late Joshua Lee Darden Sr., and the late Julie Drew Darden.
At a young age he joined the Rising Star Baptist Church of Branchville, Virginia until he moved his residence to New York.
He was a hard worker and provider for his family. Joshua worked for MTA as a track man until retirement after 28 years of service.
He was married to the late Mazee Blowe Darden.
He leaves to mourn his four children, three grandsons and one granddaughter; five great grands, one brother in law and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The Lord Is My Shepherd

He maketh me to lie down in green
