Joshua “Josh” Daniel Prindle, 30, went to be with his heavenly Father May 29th, 2022 in Pueblo, CO.
He was born July 20, 1991 in Lubbock, TX to Sherri D. (Parker) and Ronald L. Prindle. He grew up in Roanoke, TX and attended North West High School in Justin, TX and Frenship High School in Wolfforth, TX, where he graduated in 2010. Josh worked for Gene Messer Ford in Lubbock and Rock Scapes in Roanoke with Beau Bradly before joining the Army. Josh enlisted in the US Army shortly after graduating. He started boot camp October 12, 2010 at Ft. Knox in Kentucky. Josh said that boot camp was hard, but that “someone had to do it”. He graduated from boot camp February 23, 2011 as a scout, then went up to PFC E3 in just a few months.
Since the age of 12, all Josh wanted to do was join the Army, regardless how his parents felt. Mom was not very happy with this decision but was his #1 fan. Though while he was little he was deprived of guns and knives, he would be heard saying, “I’m having the time of my life now!” To his mom he was her little “G.I. Joe”, and Josh saying, “Uhuh, I’m more than that, I’m a Scout”.
Josh had been deployed three times and stationed at Ft. Knox, Ft. Bliss, Ft. Hood, Ft. Stewart and Ft. Carson. He had attended school for diesel mechanics at Ft. Lee, and Ft. Irwin for NTC; he was an MCRS operator during the NTC operation.
On December 27, 2012 he married Jessica Ramirez. Together they raised two daughters, Trinity and Destiny, and two sons Matthew and Jacob. He is survived by his children; mother, Sherri D. Parker of N. Ft. Worth, TX; his father, Ronald L. Prindle of Lubbock, TX; a sister, Kimberly Ann Prindle of Chandler, AZ; a grandmother, Edith Landcaster and his Uncle Paul Parker, both of Lubbock, TX; a cousin, Cory Prindle of Levelland, TX and Christina Prindle of Carlsbad, NM; his Uncle Dennis & Aunt Tammy Prindle of Smyer, TX; his Aunt Sandra Dagle, and cousins, Desmond, Kelsey, Sierra, Amber, Christine and Samuel, all of Huston, TX.
