Joshua Dean Schertz age 36 of Fishers, Indiana formerly of Metamora passed away at 9:12pm Saturday Nov. 21, 2015 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was born Feb. 13, 1979 in Peoria, Illinois to Richard D. and Carol (Noel) Schertz. He married Sylvia Lau on Aug. 12, 2005 in Palatine, Illinois.
Surviving is his wife Sylvia (Lau) Schertz of Fishers, IN. Two sons Andrew Dean and Alexander Joshua Schertz both at home. Sister, Kirsten (Matthew) Hany of Normal, IL.
Parents Dick and Carol Schertz of Metamora, IL. and his Grandmother Nell Schertz of Metamora. Preceded in death by his Paternal grandfather Donald Schertz, and Maternal grandparents Milburn and Bernadine Noel.
Josh was a 1997 graduate of Metamora High School and Northern Illinois University where he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance.
