Joshua D. “JD” Carrell, 33, of Anderson, passed away on January 5, 2021, at his residence.
He was born on August 28, 1987, in Anderson, where he resided all of his life. Joshua graduated from Anderson High School in 2006, where he was an active member of the French Club and was able to take two trips to Europe with the club. He was also a very proud Eagle Scout. He was a member of Troop #240. He liked cars and taking care of them, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family.
Joshua is survived by his brother, Ronald (Brooke) Carrell; son, Tobias Carrell; girlfriend, Samantha Motsinger; paternal grandparents, William E. & Mary Alice (Masters) Carrell; uncles, Curtis Carrell, Leonard “Skip” Stevens; aunt, Carmen Sokol; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, David E. Carrell; mother, Debra Stover; and his maternal grandparents, Don & Beverly Stevens.
