Mr. Josephus Smith Sr. (A.k.a “Boss Hogg”) was born August 26, 1952 in Fort Deposit, Alabama to Marie Smith and the late Alex Smith, Sr. One brother preceded him in death, Alex Smith Jr.
He accepted Christ at an early age and later join the Trinity Baptist Church under the Leadership of Reverend John King, Pastor.
He was educated in the Birmingham public school System.
Josephus was united in Holy Matrimony to Crissandra Smith on July 10, 1994.
Josephus loved life. He never met a stranger, In fact, many of their friends were members of Knight Riders Van Club, Oasis Truck Club and Mag-Player.
He was an avid fan of horse riding and Nascar Racing with special emphasis on Nascar race driver number 3.
