Josephine Theresa (Jennings) DiFilippo, wife of Ron DiFilippo, passed away at home on August 21, 2021, after a long illness. Josephine was born on February 6, 1938, the daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret (Leahy) Jennings. She grew up in Salem, graduating from St. James High School. Ron and Josephine settled in Wenham where they raised their sons.
In addition to her husband Ron, Josephine is survived by two sons and their wives, Mike and Mary Beth DiFilippo and their children Michael, Matthew, and Mary, and Ron and Lori DiFilippo and their children Alexi and AJ. Josephine was predeceased by two brothers, Salem Police Captain William Jennings, and John Jennings, and four sisters, Kathleen and Patricia Jennings, Eileen White, and Margaret Bellaconis. She is survived by her sister Nancy Mulligan and sister-in-law Rose Jennings, and many nieces and nephews.
