Josephine Maude Francis, 95, of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, February 19th at Water’s Edge Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Middletown. Born on October 8, 1913 in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Maude (LeCompte) Francis. Josephine lived in Durham for most of her life before moving to Middletown. While living in Durham, she and her brother ran a small farm and antique shop. Before retiring, she worked for The Hartford and Aetna Insurance Companies.
