Josephine Mary Faith, age 81, of Salem, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 at the Calcutta Health Care Center. She was born October 19, 1935 in Salem, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Grunick) Holisky.
Josephine was a 1953 graduate of Leetonia High School. She worked as a packer for the Lyle Printing Company of Salem for 13 years. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Leetonia, the Salem Slovak Club, and the Heritage Inn.
She is survived by one son, William Faith Jr. of Rogers; lifelong close friend Kevin Shaffer of Rogers; one brother, Ed Holisky of Columbiana; one grandson, Jonathon Shaffer of East Palestine.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, George, and John Holisky; five sisters, infant Mary Catherine, Ann Syppko, twin sister Joann Wright, Margaret Andrich, and Mary Catherine LaMorticella.
