Josephine Marie Morris, 87, of Clarksburg went to sleep to wait for her Lord Jesus Christ to come back for his own. She was born January 6, 1927 in Harrison County, the daughter of the late Roy Green and Ora Bell Ferrell. She was the wife of the late Lewis C. Morris.
She is survived by two daughters; Sherry L. Swiger of Clarksburg, and Diane M. Christian of Texas; two sons; John A. Swiger and Danny L. Hammond of Clarksburg.; one sister; Dorthey “Dotty” Rhoads of Sardis, one brother; Bernard “Bunny” Ferrell of Clarksburg.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter; Phillis Jean Dunbar and two sons; Larry E. Swiger and Timothy Fittro; two sisters; Mary M. Snider and Lillian Hawkenberry; five brothers; Carl, Robert, Jessy, Virgil and Eugene Ferrell.
Josephine loved doing puzzles, gardening, and hunting in her younger years. She worked at the Glass Factory as a decorator.
Following her wishes, Josephine will be cremated.
