She is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Carroll Higdon, Sr.; his children, Carroll Higdon, Jr. and his wife, Cindy; and Robin Barkley and her husband, Steve; her four grandchildren, Steven Higdon, Melissa Nagy, Jonathan Barkley and Rachel Barkley and two great-grandchildren.
