Josephine “Giuseppina” Rossi, 89, of West Haven passed away on December 19, 2010. Wife of Alfredo Rossi. Born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Alipio and Adelina Belli, then moved back to Italy. Josephine migrated back to the US in 1953 for a better life for her family. She is also survived by her children Giancarlo (Elizabeth) Rossi of West Haven and Gabriella (Kevin) Driscoll of Wallingford, her grandchildren Sharri (Francis) Maurais, Kevin Driscoll Jr., Alfred E. (Jennifer) Rossi, and David J. Rossi, her great grandchildren Kaitlyn and Aiden, and her sister Meri Batisdelli of Italy. Josephine was predeceased by her brothers Renato and Mario Belli. She was a seamstress/finisher for many years at numerous local clothing manufacturers.
