Josephine (D’Angelo) Fuoco, 99, passed away peacefully on June 16th, 2013. Born in Southington, Josie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She lived independently at her home in Newington after her husband John’s death in 1969. She loved cooking and listening to music, but her greatest joy and interest was her family and visiting with them. She will be missed by her loving family, John and his wife Sandra of Higganum, Robert and his life partner Peter Huybrechts of Burlington, Roberta and her husband Peter of Canton, grandchildren Glenn, Marc, David, Sarah and Ian and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Edward D’Angelo and his wife Adeline, a sister-in-law Joan D’Angelo and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters Julia Miller and Olga Shea and a brother Robert D’Angelo. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Bel Air Manor in Newington.
