Josephine C. Battaglia, 90 of Berkeley passed from this life Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at home surrounded by her family.
Josephine was born March 13, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York to the late John and Louise Pennisi.
She was a loving mother, devoted wife and proud grandmother. She loved her family but had a special place for her grandchildren. She was a very caring woman that was selfless with her time to anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Josephine is predeceased by her parents and her husband, Joseph Battaglia, Sr.
Josephine is survived by her son, Joseph Battaglia, Jr., and his wife Stephanie of Toms River; grandchildren; Nicholas and his wife Amber; Samantha Cline and her Husband Chris and 3 great-grandchildren.
