Josie was a lifelong resident of Harlingen. She worked as a waitress and cook. She had many friends and was well known for her delicious tamales. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Martin Garcia (Eva), Francisco Lopez Jr., Elizabeth Leal (Joe), Luis Leal Jr. (Lorena), Sandra Sosa, Sonia Sosa (David), Victor R. Sosa (Yadira); her siblings, Angelita Resendez, Oleida Aguirre, Alejandra M. Moreno, and Gustavo De La Fuente; 25 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
