Bill was born and raised in Carrollton, Kentucky. He worked on the family’s tobacco farm until he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1954. He did his basic training at Lowry Air Force Base in Colorado. This is where he met and married Joyce on May 19, 1955. The couple moved to Spokane, Washington where he was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base. It was there that they were blessed with two children, Christine and Bill.
Bill is survived by his wife, Joyce; his children, Christine Still and Bill (Carol) Holloway; grandchildren, Tricia, Sam, Rachael, and Abby; great granddaughter, Saia; brothers, Bob and Tom Winckler; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Holloway; brother, Jim Holloway; and his sister, Virginia Martin.
