Joseph W. “Bob” Hartley, 84, died on Tuesday, May 26 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center after a brief illness. He was the husband of Cora (Julian) Hartley for 52 years. Mr. Hartley is preceded in death by his parents Willie Franklin Hartley and Josie (Sewell) Hartley, his brother; Russell Hartley and sister June Coats.
Besides his wife Cora, “Bob” is survived by 3 sisters; Shirley Cullins, Betty Vanvalkenburg and Gail Chance, 2 brothers; Charles Lindsey and Frank Hartley, his beloved friend; Jamie Sanders, as well as several nieces and nephews.
