Joseph Vincent Stevens, 87
East Greenbush Joseph Vincent Stevens, 87 ,of Route 150, died Monday, September 6, 2004 at Samuel Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany after a brief illness.
Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Patrick and Constance Stypenski and husband of the late Mary Nerf Stevens.
He had resided for 48 years in East Greenbush and was a graduate of Albany High School.
Mr.Stevens was employed at the silos of GLF Mills at the Port of Albany.
He was a member of the USS Helena organization and was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Persian Gulf War.
He is survived by a daughter, Janice Sencer (Michael) of Poestenkill; a brother, Valentine Stypenski of Patchogue, NY; four grandchildren, Therese Heilman, Michelle McGrath, Christopher Sencer and Leslie Hurley; 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
