Bland, Jr. and Violet (Swim) Bland of Clarksburg, WV; two sons, Aiden Rollis McElhaney and Riley William McElhaney of West Virginia; a daughter, Mackenzie Samantha Bland of Florida; three brothers, Jason Bland, Jarrett Bland and Johnathon Bland, all of Clarksburg, WV; two sisters, Tanya Bland of Florida and Darlene Bland of Clarksburg, WV; three aunts, Connie Swim of Clarksburg, WV and Bonnie Swim of McDowell County; Aunt, Rose Marie Bland; ten nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Sam.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mervin and Beatrice Swim; paternal grandparents, Albert Bland Sr. and Thelma Gordon Bland; three aunts, Frances Bland, Barbara Bland and Darlene Bland.
Joseph was self-employed as a construction worker.
