Joseph V. Deegan, 83, of Greenbriar Woodlands, Toms River, NJ, died on Friday January 5, 2018, at home. Born in Atlantic City on November 11, 1934, Joseph was raised in Ventnor and lived in Fairlawn, Milton, and Manahawkin before moving to Toms River. He was a computer programmer for Thermwell Products in Paterson, NJ. Joseph is predeceased by his father Joseph, mother Anne, and brother John.
He is survived by his daughter Suzanne, sons Mark and Kevin, brother Richard, sisters Bernadette Getzler and Barbara Totten, grandchildren Nicole and Shane, and best friend Paul Abraham. Joseph will be remembered for his lively sense of humor, love for political debate, playing games like pool and scrabble, and trips to Atlantic City. Joseph will be loved and in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers for all eternity.
