Joe was married to Margaret (Gonzales) Trujillo, who preceded him in death in December 2005. Joe is survived by his children, Joseph Trujillo Jr., Christina Baros and Madeline Trujillo, his grandchildren, Gina Ruiz, Richard Trujillo, Tina Serna, Danny Trujillo, April Lopez, Kimberly Hancock, Nikki Hancock, Danene Garcia and her husband Jerry Carrillo, Troy Trujillo, Dionecio Trujillo, Desiree Trujillo and Frank Trujillo; his brothers and sisters, Jessie Torres, Isabelle Rodriguez, Jenny Carbajal, Jake Trujillo, Diego Trujillo, and Jimmy Trujillo. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Frank and Steve, and four brothers, Ralph Trujillo, Richard Trujillo, Felix Trujillo and John Trujillo.
