On February 26, 2016, Joseph Thomas Goggin, 80, passed away. He was born in West Philadelphia, PA, on September 22, 1935, to the late Rita and Joseph Goggin. Joseph earned his Master’s Degree in Theology from St. Mary’s Seminary and his Undergraduate Degree in Political Science from University of MD. He served his country proudly as a Spec-3 in the U.S. Army and continued to serve the U.S. as a cryptologist at NSA for 35 years. Joseph then went on to serve his church with the Archdiocese of Baltimore as the Director of Religious Education, and then serving local law enforcement as a Crime Analyst with A.A. Co. Police Department. Throughout his life, no matter what job he had, Joseph served the Lord through a variety of parish ministries.
